  • Evaluate & Manage Acute Conditions of the Hand & Upper Extremity

  • Review can’t miss diagnoses

  • Perform Minor Hand procedures (Nailbed repairs, drainage of infection)

  • Learn techniques for local anesthesia, injections and aspirations

  • Improve Fracture Reduction & Splinting techniques

8:20 am Live cadaver demonstrations including management of nail bed injuries and finger infections

9:20 am All Things Needle: Common Conditions that Benefit from Evaluation or Management with Aspiration or Injection

9:40 am Hands on cadaver lab including joint/tendon aspiration & injection and administration of local/regional blocks

10:40 am Management of Hand and Upper Extremity Fractures

11:00 am Interactive fracture reduction and splinting techniques lab

12:00 pm Lunch provided

Wound care and splinting demonstrations

1:00 pm Don’t Miss Diagnoses of the Upper Extremity

1:20 pm Management of hand ischemia and finger amputations
